The Alumni Association is the connective tissue of the TSU Delta Chi brotherhood. If you're a Delta Chi from Truman, you're part of this community — and we'd love to hear from you.
Annual dues are $30 and keep you connected — to events, news, and the chapter you were part of. Every dollar also counts toward your lifetime giving total.

Make your check payable to TSU Delta Chi Alumni Association and mail to Jerry Mallory. Dues keep the AA funded and count toward your lifetime giving total across all three Delta Chi organizations.
Alumni Association eligibility
Every alumnus who has initiated through the TSU Delta Chi chapter is eligible for the Alumni Association. If you've ever contributed anything — dues, a gift to the HC, or a donation to ABT — you're already counted.
Is there a formal AA membership list or directory? How does an alumnus update their contact info?
Every dollar paid in AA dues accumulates toward your lifetime giving total — the same total used to determine your HC investment tier and Housing Corporation voting membership. Pay dues for 34 years and you're at $1,020 — an 1890 Founders Club member and HC voting member. It all adds up.
Alumni Association dues and gifts, including contributions to the Joe Crabtree Memorial Scholarship, are not tax-deductible as charitable contributions.
The AA coordinates alumni events throughout the year. Here's what's coming up.

Are there other regular AA events, socials, or gatherings throughout the year? Regional alumni meetups? Annual golf outings? Any traditions the AA maintains?
TSU Delta Chi was chartered in 1978. In April 2028 we will mark 50 years as a chapter — and we want every brother who has ever worn the badge to be there. Save the dates now.
The Joe Crabtree Memorial Scholarship fund is one of the most meaningful programs the Alumni Association supports — connecting the legacy of a brother to the academic success of current members.
Administered by the TSU Delta Chi Alumni Association
Joe Crabtree was a lifelong Kirksville resident and parts manager at Burdman's Auto Parts, where he became friends with Chapter "D" Dan Niederschulte — the connection that first introduced him to Delta Chi. When the newly formed chapter was searching for its first official BB, Joe was elected to that role in the fall of 1978.
Joe was not married and had no children, and was nearing retirement age when he took on the role — which meant he had the time, energy, and genuine interest to invest fully in the chapter. He attended almost every chapter meeting, rush event, and social gathering. His numerous contacts throughout Kirksville proved invaluable in ways large and small. He provided guidance and advice to the chapter, and helped several brothers through personal difficulties. He was an advisor, but also a great friend.
Joe served as BB for a little over ten years. In the late 1980s he suffered a stroke but made a near-full recovery. He stepped down from his official role but continued to be involved with the chapter. At the 1990 Centennial Convention of the International Fraternity, brother Larry Nothnagel had the great honor of nominating Joe for the title of BB Emeritus — a fitting recognition of a man who gave so much of himself to TSU Delta Chi.
